# Sub-Accounts

* When managing multiple businesses requiring independent asset management, using sub-accounts is an excellent approach. Funds and API Keys are independent and isolated across accounts.
* Assets can be transferred between the main account and sub-accounts, but transfers between sub-accounts are not allowed.
* Sub-accounts have independent account credentials (username/password) and API Keys, which are configured and managed by the main account in the merchant dashboard.
* Each main account can create up to 20 sub-accounts, and each account can create up to 20 API Key groups. Each API Key can be configured with permissions such as read or withdrawal.
